Booking terms – Static Caravans and Campsite
(Groups/Dorms Users abide by more specific Ts&Cs – available on request)
- To request a reservation, the person making the request, will have to declare (by checking a box in the reservation request) that they and other people in their booking are Christians or sympathetic to the Christian faith, as the whole site is integrated with the wider ministry of the Centre.
- A booking is not ‘firm’ until a reservation is confirmed by us and and a 20% deposit of the total value of the booking is paid (booking deposit).
- Instructions on how to do this will be included with your reservation confirmation.
- All indoor accommodation provided by us will be subject to a security deposit against damage and loss, which can be paid on arrival or when the total balance is paid. This will be refunded in full after checkout if no damage occurs.
- Check-in is from 4pm-10pm and Check-out is by 10am. For requirements outside of these times, prior arrangements have to be made but may not always be possible.
- Check-in after 10pm or late check-out may not always be possible, but you are welcome to enquire if you have a special request and we will do our best to help if we can.
Cancellation policy
- If you later find you are unable to come on the booked dates, please let us know as soon as possible.
- You are welcome to change the dates or change the names on the reservation if you have family or friends who would like to take your booking.
- You may cancel your booking for a full refund, up to 48 hours ahead of check-in.
- If you cancel less than 48 hours ahead of check-in the cancellation charge is equal to the booking deposit.
- Cancellation fees are in place to cover expenses incurred due to cancelled bookings and to enable us to offer the accommodation with a last minute discount to others, in order to re-fill the vacancy.
The F M Centre Newton Stewart reserves the right to refuse a reservation or terminate a booking that fails to meet these general conditions:
- We reserve the right to impose special booking conditions when deemed appropriate by management.
- We retain the right to refuse entry to Newton Stewart Centre to any persons whom we believe are acting in an illegal or antisocial manner or who is bringing danger to themselves or to other visitors.
- This is a no-smoking site.
- Alcohol is not permitted in any public areas.
- The following are not permitted on site:
- Illegal drugs
- Offensive weapons (such as slings, knives, guns of any kind etc.)
- Anything else of an illegal nature or which poses a risk to others.
- Flamable items (fireworks, chinese lanterns, candles)
- Pets are not allowed on site.
- Videos and photographs are strictly prohibited where any children present on site (except your own) can appear in them, in compliance with our child protection policy.
- Mixed sex occupancy of any bedroom, tent or other sleeping accommodation (other than by married heterosexual couples and their families) is not allowed.
- Only persons detailed in the booking, room plan or site plan are permitted to stay overnight and occupy the premises. This is essential for compliance with fire regulations.
- All day visitors must be registered with management in advance, or at the earliest opportunity. This is essential for compliance with fire regulations.
- Please ensure that the Centre remains tidy at all times.
- To allow for cleaning for the next guests, all accommodation must be vacated by the agreed time.
